This Policy explains what personal data Arvia collects, how we use it, and the rights you have. It applies to renters, owners and visitors to our platform.
1. Data we collect
Account details (name, phone, email), identity and driving documents for verification, booking and payment information, device and usage data, and — for rented vehicles — GPS location data during active trips.
2. How we use data
To verify users, process bookings and payments, provide GPS theft protection and support, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal data.
3. GPS location data
Location data is collected only for vehicles listed on Arvia and is used for safety, theft recovery, and resolving disputes between owners and renters. Access is restricted to authorised staff and the vehicle owner.
4. Sharing
We share data with banking partners to process payments, with owners and renters as needed to complete a booking, and with authorities where legally required. Service providers are bound by confidentiality obligations.
5. Retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as required to meet legal, accounting and dispute-resolution obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights
You may access, correct or delete your personal data, and object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights. Some data must be retained to meet legal obligations.
