Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of oravardzov.am, a peer-to-peer car rental marketplace operating in Armenia. By creating an account, listing a vehicle, or booking a rental, you agree to these Terms.

1. The marketplace

oravardzov.am connects car owners with renters. oravardzov.am is not the owner of the vehicles listed and is not a party to the rental agreement between an owner and a renter. We provide the platform, verification, payment handling and optional GPS protection.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid driving licence for at least 2 years, and provide accurate identity documents. We may refuse or suspend any account that fails verification or violates these Terms.

3. Bookings & payments

The renter pays the daily rate plus any applicable service fee and refundable deposit. oravardzov.am retains a 20% commission on each completed booking. Payments are processed through Armenian banking partners in Armenian dram (֏).

4. Deposits & damage

A refundable security deposit may be held for the duration of the rental and released after the vehicle is returned in its original condition. Damage, traffic fines and fuel shortfalls may be deducted from the deposit.

5. GPS protection

Every vehicle rented through oravardzov.am carries a GPS tracker for theft protection and dispute resolution. Owners pay a mandatory monthly GPS subscription. Location data is used only for safety, recovery and support.

6. Cancellations

Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the trip starts. Later cancellations may incur a fee. Owners who cancel confirmed bookings may face penalties and reduced ranking.

7. Liability

oravardzov.am is not liable for indirect losses arising from a rental. Owners are responsible for the roadworthiness and insurance of their vehicles; renters are responsible for the vehicle during the rental period.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of oravardzov.am after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
